Our commitment to providing services in an environmentally friendly manner is underscored by our commitment to The British Marine Federation and Royal Yachting Association’s environmental policy called “The Green Blue”. This commitment ensures that we have a “right first time” approach that fits with the joint GLA mission “To deliver a reliable, efficient and cost effective Aids-to-Navigation service for the benefit and safety of all mariners”.

Frank Halls and Son Ltd comply with all legal requirements and seek to surpass this at every opportunity.

Our steel work has become a key part of our tradition and the excellence we provide is evidenced by the fact that we are CE Marked and work to the BS EN 1090 Standards. We are able to fabricate, deliver and erect structural steel products to Execution Class 2. In December 2017 we passed our third CE Mark Annual Audit with ISOQAR.

We operate from fully equipped, covered and heated indoor workshops covering in excess of 8000 square feet that are capable of housing 15 boats up to 40 feet long, we also have a quay and two storage yards. The yards can house approximately 160 yachts and other vessels. Our experienced boat handlers are able to move vessels up to 12 tons in weight using our travel lifts. We currently store the Trinity House No.1 Boat in our top shed and various other Trinity House equipment in a secure 40’ storage shed that is kept on site.

We were pleased to receive a “Certificate in Recognition of Exceptionally Long and Effective Service to Trinity House” in November 2012 and intend to expand the longevity and quality of our service to Trinity House.
